Sergio Aragonés delivers another gloriously chaotic cover for this November 1985 Epic Comics entry, depicting our hapless hero Groo locked in a fierce tangle with a fearsome skull-helmeted, horn-adorned warrior — swords flashing in every direction — while a wild-eyed pig scrambles for its life below them. The story inside, "Pigs and Apples," promises the kind of absurdist sword-and-sorcery mayhem that Aragonés, Mark Evanier, colorist Tom Luth, and letterer Stan Sakai had already made wonderfully their own. A thoroughly entertaining chapter in Groo's wandering misadventures.
