“Sister's City!”

Sergio Aragonés brings his signature slapstick energy to this August 1986 Epic/Marvel issue, with a cover showing the scruffy, grinning Groo reaching out toward a crown-wearing, bead-adorned woman — clearly Grooella — who looks less than thrilled by the enthusiastic reunion. The story title "Sister's City!" suggests the family dynamic between these two is about to cause maximum chaos, and if the cover's mutual grimacing is any indication, diplomacy is not on the agenda.
