The Flying Foxes are a vaudeville rope act that is a bust. They see Sargon create a swing out of a six foot long piece of rope and buy it from his apprentice, Max. When it fails to work, they take a tumble on stage and want Max's head. Sargon points out to the stage manager that the Foxes would make a great comedy act.
