“The Treachery of Fiendo”

In "The Treachery of Fiendo," a desperate farmer faces down a gang of crooks threatening his egg farm, while his daughter Phyllis slips a plea for help into a basket of eggs—only for it to be found by Tommy Rogers. When the delivery boy uncovers the message, he and his partner spring into action, leading to a showdown at the farm where their disguises and quick thinking turn the tide. Frank Harry handles both art and inks for the story, while Harry Peter delivers the cover.

A gandg of crooks on the lam offer a farmer $500 for his egg farm. His daughter Phyllis overhears him being threatened and writes a 'we need help' message, and the address, on an egg, leaving it in a basket of eggs for the delivery boy to collect. The egg happens to be among those bought by Tommy Rogers, who finds the message. They visit the farm and ask to speak to Phyllis, but the door is slammed in their faces. Changing into costume, they break in, two of them are caught, and Little Boy Blue is left to pelt them with eggs. Between the three of them they manage to capture the gang.
