In "The Incredible Space Menace, Part I," Mandrake the Magician finds himself targeted by four aliens from Portonoia—Dargo, Felix, Ralph, and Professor Beldon—who have infiltrated Earth under the guise of weather phenomena. When one of the aliens, secretly allied with Mandrake, realizes their plan hinges on eliminating him, they orchestrate a trap using his own powers against him, leaving him paralyzed. With Narda and Lothar racing to save him, Mandrake must regain his strength in time to confront the invaders and undo their alien minds before Earth falls under their control.

In "The Incredible Space Menace, Part II," Mandrake the Magician faces a sinister threat as four aliens from Portonoia—Dargo, Felix, Ralph, and Professor Beldon—use hurricanes to cloak their arrival on Earth, infiltrating human society with plans to conquer. When one of the aliens, who has grown close to Mandrake, betrays his comrades to eliminate the magician, he tricks Mandrake into using his powers against himself, leaving him paralyzed. With help from Narda and Lothar, Mandrake is freed, and together they confront the invaders, turning their minds away from conquest and restoring peace.
