Two youngsters, Angie and David Moore, venture into a supposedly haunted house in search of a thrill, convinced that ghosts are nothing but folklore—until they decide to smoke out the phantom by setting a fire. When a very real axe-wielding specter emerges to stop them, the children discover that the line between myth and deadly truth is far thinner than they imagined. This twisted fantasy tale serves up a darkly ironic moral where everyone involved gets precisely what they deserve.

I Am Treachery... I Am Horror Incarnate
20 pp · Horror-Suspense

Two young women trapped in a nightmare at sea find themselves rescued from a whirlpool by a grotesque tentacle—only to discover it's actually a Nazi-era submarine disguised as a squid, commanded by a Nazi officer who refuses to accept that the war is over. Now captives aboard his vessel, the women must study their captor's every move at the controls, searching for any chance to seize the submarine and escape his "hospitality." What begins as a desperate bid for freedom becomes far more sinister when they attempt their daring plan off the African coast.
