This 2019 Gwandanaland Comics volume reprints Skywald's Scream No. 9 (September 1974), and Fabá's cover sets the mood perfectly — a decayed, bandage-wrapped mummy strides forward clutching a severed head, surrounded by leering skulls and monstrous figures against a blood-red sky. The tagline "Tales of Horror to Rot Your Mind" captures exactly the gleeful dread that made Skywald's horror-mood magazines so distinctive.
