A young barmaid hurries home from the tavern, unaware that a vampire—Count Wilhem Volusk—has been preying on the villagers, until the townsfolk, armed and united, storm his castle to hunt him down. As the mob corners the count, a new threat emerges from the shadows, leaving the true nature of the danger in question.
In the spring of 1868, a young man of extraordinary intellect named Auguste Dupin and his companion investigate the bizarre murders in the Rue Morgue, where two women were found brutally killed in a locked apartment with no clear way in or out. As the police struggle to make sense of conflicting witness accounts and impossible details—such as a voice speaking multiple languages and a body stuffed up a chimney—Dupin begins to piece together the truth through meticulous observation and logic. The mystery deepens as Dupin prepares to confront the killer, who may be drawn to their home by a carefully laid trap.
In a small Spanish village in 1814, fear grips the townspeople after a series of mysterious murders linked to a vampire. When the local mayor calls a meeting to form a vigilante committee, suspicion falls on the mysterious stranger staying at the inn—only to be upended when the real culprit is revealed in a shocking twist.
