Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #89
In "Panic at the Pizza Palace," the legacy of Poldo’s Pizza Palace hangs in the balance when hipster-heir Franco Poldo swaps the classic menu for avant-garde creations like "non-dairy kale and banana"—a move that draws the wrath of Gerolamo Piredda, the ghost of one of America’s first coal-fired pizzeria founders, who sees the new recipes as a sacrilege to the true majesty of the pie. Written by Rob M. Worley and brought to life with bold, expressive art by Scott Gross—whose distinctive style defines both the interior and cover—this 2018 issue delivers a delightfully quirky mystery where the real flavor is in the clash of tradition and trend.
