Scarlet Witch vol. 4 launched in August 2024 as a direct continuation of Orlando's earlier vol. 3 run (2023) and the four-issue Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver limited series, all of which had established Wanda's new status quo as a small-town mystic anchor operating out of Lotkill, New York. Issue #8 was written by Steve Orlando with interior art by Lorenzo Tammetta (who had previously drawn the Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver series), colors by Frank William, letters by VC's Ariana Maher, and editing by Alanna Smith; Russell Dauterman supplied the main cover, maintaining the visual identity he established across the entire Orlando run. The issue carried a final-order cutoff date of December 9, 2024, and shipped to stores on January 22–29, 2025, with a March 2025 cover date.
