This issue is the fourth volume of Scarlet Witch's solo comics history, launched in June 2024 as a direct continuation of Orlando's previous volume, itself begun in 2023. Marvel announced the relaunched series with Jacopo Camagni — best known for X-Men: Red and the creator-owned fantasy series Nomen Omen — joining as the new series artist, replacing the rotating roster of the earlier volume; Russell Dauterman, who had drawn interior pages previously, transitioned to cover duties exclusively for the new volume with colorist Frank William on interiors. The issue was edited by Alanna Smith and carries a final-order-cutoff date of December 16, 2024, with a cover date of April 2025 and an on-sale date of February 5, 2025. Issues #6–10 of this volume were later collected in the trade paperback Scarlet Witch by Steve Orlando Vol. 5: Amaranth Rising.
