Sandman Mystery Theatre #6
In "The Face Act Two," Jimmy Shan finds himself caught between loyalty to his Lei Feng tong and the chilling reality of a killer who strikes with surgical precision. As tensions escalate and another beheading shocks the community, the Sandman urges Jimmy to stand down—though his warnings fall on deaf ears. Meanwhile, the mysterious Face retreats to his apartment, peeling away his disguise to whisper to his reflection in the mirror. Written by Matt Wagner and illustrated by John Watkiss, with colors by David Hornung and letters by John Costanza, this issue deepens the mystery with a haunting, grounded tension. The cover, by Gavin Wilson, captures the eerie stillness before the next strike.
