Sandman #[4]
This Polish edition of Sandman — published by Egmont Polska in 2003 — carries the moody, atmospheric power that defines the series, with Dave McKean's cover art presenting a shrouded figure draped in delicate lace, a dark spider resting prominently on their face against a sepia-toned, dreamlike backdrop. The subtitle Dom Lalki, Część II ("A Doll's House, Part II") signals this is the second chapter of that arc, collecting work written by Neil Gaiman with interior art by Michael Zulli and inking by Steve Parkhouse. It's a beautifully produced volume that makes Gaiman's haunting storytelling accessible to Polish readers in a package as unsettling and elegant as the dream-world it depicts.
