Part four of "The Doll's House" arrives with a cover by Dave McKean that is quietly unsettling — aged, text-covered parchment bleeds into a dark central band where three skeletal figures emerge from shadow, the whole composition layered in earth tones and decay. The juxtaposition of manuscript fragments and exposed bones gives the image a medieval, memento-mori weight that feels entirely at home in Neil Gaiman's world. With Michael Zulli and Steve Parkhouse handling interior art, this February 1990 DC issue promises the same moody, literary atmosphere the series had already made its own.
