Harvey's long-running military comedy series is in fine form with this December 1963 entry, cover by George Baker. The scene captures Sad Sack in full chaos mode — balancing a heaping platter of hot dogs while a grinning fellow soldier gleefully jabs at the food with forks, sparks flying, as a stern cook watches from behind the counter with a "Hot Dogs Today" sign nearby and a little dog scrambling underfoot. It's the kind of cheerful, good-natured slapstick that earned the series its "Loved by Millions" tagline, and Baker's lively linework delivers every bit of the fun.
