Harvey Comics' long-running Army humor series delivers another dose of hapless misfortune in this September 1960 issue, cover by George Baker. The cover finds the poor Sad Sack wading through a stream, getting his helmet pounded down over his head by a pair of flying boots — stars and sparks flying — while a stern sergeant looks on from one bank and a group of soldiers watches from the other. It's the kind of beautifully timed cartoon calamity that made this series, as the cover itself cheerfully declares, "loved by millions.
