Part 2 of the "Finders Keepers" arc arrives in this 2009 Archie Comics issue, and the cover by Chad Thomas and Jim Amash sets a wonderfully energetic tone — young Salem, broom in hand and a glowing magical orb at the ready, faces down a pack of snarling green reptilian creatures while a startled, bearded companion scrambles behind him. The warm fiery sky and crumbling rocky ledge beneath their feet give the whole scene a real sense of breathless, high-stakes adventure.
