Few settings dramatize conflict quite like a wedding ceremony interrupted, and this 1981 Marvel issue leans into that tension completely. The cover by Bob Layton places the armored Spaceknight Rom front and center in a church aisle, his weapon blazing as a woman in white pleads "Rom, no! Don't kill the man I love!" — while a stunned officiant clutches a book reading "…Till Death Do Us Part" and startled guests recoil in the pews behind stained-glass windows. Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema bring their reliable energy to the interior, promising that this wedding-day showdown is anything but a quiet affair.
