This anthology issue contains three stories: "The Baron's Tyranny," in which the King revokes his foolish guard's orders and commands Robin Hood's arrest, leading to Robin's capture as he attempts to escape the castle with his men; "The Capture of Robin Hood" and "The Menace of the Royal Assassins," where Robin encounters brigands attacking Sir Harold Wickham and must defend him, only to discover these brigands are part of a plot, though Robin ultimately escapes; and "The Miser's Secret," in which Sir Edward Carter, exhausted from crusading, discovers a fantastic secret about a miser's hidden wealth while searching for thieves who robbed him.
