This anthology issue contains three stories: "Rescue of Maid Marian," in which Robin Hood's men mount a desperate rescue attempt to save Maid Marian from her prison window, ultimately succeeding and fleeing to the forest despite opposition from guards; "The Golden Rain," featuring Robin Hood and his men discovering a golden egg and encountering a wealthy coach, leading to a confrontation where they pursue the treasure; "Scourge of the Bailiff," depicting an encounter between Robin Hood's outlaws and the bailiff; and "The Hunting of Ned Soth," a text story about a hunter named Ned Soth who pursues a King's Deer in Sherwood Forest, leading to a battle with the King's Foresters that ends with Ned's defeat and death.
