Robin Hood encounters a weeping woman in Sherwood Forest who tells him that the evil Sir Gui has made her brother a prisoner and intends to execute him. She explains she bribed a guard to help her brother escape from Glamore Castle, but her horse bolted and left her stranded. Robin Hood recruits the woman and gives her a horse to help rescue her brother, while he and Little John devise a plan to intercept Sir Gui's forces. The story culminates in a confrontation at Glamore Castle as Robin Hood's merry men work to thwart Sir Gui's schemes and free the imprisoned brother.
