A young Saxon boy named Arn cherishes his harp above all else, but when Prince John's tax collectors seize it to pay the realm's cruel levies, a mysterious stranger from Sherwood Forest intervenes to restore the instrument—and with it, Arn's happiness. Word of the harp's supposed magical powers spreads like wildfire, eventually reaching Prince John himself, who demands the boy prove the magic or face dire consequences.
