A striking cover by Cully Hamner and Terry Austin sets a tense, atmospheric tone for this January 1998 installment of Tim Drake's ongoing series — Batman looms large in the foreground, his expression grim and unreadable, while Robin stands apart in the background, cape billowing, his back turned as if the distance between them says everything. The bold tagline "Robin Is History!" splashed across the lower right gives this issue an unmistakable sense of consequence. Chuck Dixon scripts with Staz Johnson on interior art, making this a strong creative team for whatever friction between Gotham's Dynamic Duo "The Speed of Life" has in store.
