Robin crouches low and wary over an oversized mousetrap — complete with a wedge of cheese as bait — while the massive, looming shadow of a rat stretches menacingly across the wall behind him, perfectly capturing the issue's title, "The Shadow of the Rat!" It's a wonderfully playful yet tense composition from cover penciler Mike Wieringo and inker Terry Austin, blending danger with a wry visual wit. Chuck Dixon, Staz Johnson, and Bob Smith bring their talents to "The Quarry," making this 1997 installment a fun entry in Tim Drake's solo adventures.
