Robin stands alone in a moonlit Gotham alleyway, staff in hand, his cape catching a cool wind beneath the glow of a gas lamp — and the graffiti-styled warning "The End Draws Near..." looming beside him sets a palpable tone of tension. Freddie E. Williams II's cover work beautifully frames Tim Drake as a solitary figure against atmospheric city architecture, all fire escapes and shadowed windows. Writer Fabian Nicieza continues "Search For a Hero" with this November 2008 installment, and that evocative cover alone makes it easy to see why the series kept readers coming back.
