Part of DC's 2008 "Batman R.I.P." crossover event, this issue of Robin promises some serious tension with the headline "Spoiler's Secret!" blazoned across the cover. The Freddie E. Williams II cover sets a gripping mood: Spoiler stands alert on a Gotham rooftop beside a fallen Batman, while a brooding, larger-than-life figure looms ominously over the city skyline against a moonlit sky. With Fabian Nicieza writing and Joe Bennett and Jack Jadson on interior art, "Gathered Pieces" looks to be a charged chapter in Robin's corner of the R.I.P. saga.
