Rick and Morty #3
In "Gods of War War with Other War Gods," the Multiverse’s Ricks clash with their Goldenfold counterparts in a high-stakes battle that spirals out of control when director Quentin Tarangoldenfold abandons his role as the arbiter of chalk-written equations—leading to the rise of a soul-eating god known as Uber-Rick. Written by Alex Firer and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Fred C. Stresing, this 2023 issue delivers a wild, surreal escalation where even the most grounded Rick must confront cosmic consequences. The cover, also by Stresing, captures the chaos in striking detail.

The Ricks of the Multiverse battle their Goldenfold counterparts. Movie director Quentin Tarangoldenfold (dubbed "Twothreefold") abandons his duties as the distinguisher of look-alike chalk-written twos and threes for key equations, leaving "our" Goldenfold to totally mess the job up - resulting in the emergence of soul-eating god Uber-Rick. “Normal Rick” Mr. Sanchez proves his worth by getting into Uber-Rick's head, teaching him remorse, and destroying him. Rick portals the Goldenfolds including Noelle to the dead-god dimension of Anti Hala to get rid of them. Morty vows to rescue Noelle.
