Richie and his father are tied up on the trunk of a tree by cavemen, and are in danger of being attacked by dinosaurs. Richie uses spectacles like a magnifying glass to burn the rope fibers so they could be released. The father and son head to the car so they could escape from harm and head back to the Utah Salt Flats in the mid-1970s A.D.
