Richie Rich #1
In "Keep Your City Clean," young Richie Rich takes on a day full of unexpected duties after his father’s morning lecture on discipline. As the football team’s assistant manager, Richie battles sleepiness while hauling gear, dodging distractions, and ultimately taking the field in a game he never expected to play. Written by Len Herman and illustrated by Ken Selig, with Warren Kremer handling the cover, this 1960 Harvey Comics classic captures a day in the life of a wealthy kid who’s anything but idle—complete with a drowsy touchdown and a father’s mistaken assumption.

After an "early to bed, early to rise" lecture from Mr. Rich, Richie resolves to make the most of his day. As the school football team's assistant manager, he must bring the team's equipment to an out-of-town game, requiring an early morning. Groggy from the time he wakes, Richie tries to nap at various points all day, but several distractions keep him from sleeping. Finally, he has to don a football uniform and play in the game, making the winning touchdown - drowsy all the while. At home he collapses into bed, where his father thinks he has been lazily sleeping all day.
