In "Early to Bed," Richie Rich tries to live up to his father’s "early to bed, early to rise" advice by maximizing his day—starting with hauling football gear to an out-of-town game. Despite his best efforts, sleepiness strikes at every turn, from napping in the library to dozing off during a pep rally, until he’s suddenly called into action on the field. Wearing a football uniform and fighting off exhaustion, he makes the game-winning touchdown, then collapses into bed, leaving Mr. Rich convinced he’s been lounging all day.
