Rex destroys Vaglox's patrols and breaks into the warlord's fortress. Rex attempts to hold a civilized discussion with Vaglox over tea, but Vaglox tries to poison him, then mentions he had been planning to destroy Earth. Rex finally destroys Vaglox, liberating the snowmen from his rule. Simon decides to remain on Benzine V with his new subjects and Rex returns to Thoth, beaming with the success of his mission. Then Thoth reminds Rex he was supposed to return with Vaglox's overdue book. Rex goes back to get it.
