Revival's rural noir atmosphere is on full, chilling display in this ninth issue — a snow-covered cemetery at night, where a hand claws up through the frozen earth beside a gravestone marked "Loving Husband," snowflakes drifting down around it in eerie silence. Jenny Frison's cover art captures the series' unsettling blend of the mundane and the macabre with quiet, understated dread. Tim Seeley and Mike Norton's ongoing Image series continues to prove that small-town Wisconsin has never felt so deeply, beautifully wrong.
