Tim Seeley and Mike Norton's rural noir continues with a genuinely unsettling cover for issue #37 — a gloved tattoo artist's hands apply ink to skin, revealing an elaborate design featuring a gaunt, wide-eyed figure surrounded by roses, a skeletal Death looming above, and a young woman caught in the composition's corner. The sepia-toned tableau feels like a memento mori etched in flesh, perfectly suited to a series where the boundary between the living and the dead has never been comfortable. If you've been following Revival's slow-burn dread, this 2016 installment looks like another beautifully grim chapter.
