Tim Seeley and Mike Norton's rural noir continues with issue #28, and this cover does exactly what the series does best — unsettles you quietly before the dread sets in. A bearded, glasses-wearing man crawls desperately through a dark tunnel toward the viewer, his expression somewhere between anguish and feral determination, hands splayed against the curved walls. It's a tightly composed, claustrophobic image that captures Revival's knack for finding genuine horror in everyday desperation.
