Tim Seeley and Mike Norton's rural noir series hits its second issue with a cover by Jenny Frison that immediately establishes how unsettling this Wisconsin-set world can be. A man in a "Snowcat" jacket drinks from a bottle and clutches a ornate cross, standing over a bound, ghoulish-looking blonde woman on a bed — while a ghostly vision of another blonde woman shimmers on the wall behind him. Mark Englert's muted purples and sickly greens give the whole scene a deeply uneasy atmosphere that signals Revival is not your typical small-town story.
