Relative Heroes #2

The cover of this 2000 DC series puts the spotlight squarely on Allure, whose super-pheromone powers are teased right in the cover copy as a blue-skinned figure leans in for a swooning embrace with the blonde hero. In the background, the rest of the Relative Heroes team tumbles dynamically through the frame, giving a sense of a group still finding its footing. Yvel Guichet and Aaron Sowd bring a lively, energetic line to the whole composition, making this second issue feel like a series hitting its stride.
