Reggie's Wise Guy Jokes #9
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of Archie's Giant Series line, this 1969 humor digest delivers a double dose of Riverdale comedy across two lively cover vignettes. In the top panel, Archie confesses to a friend that he's "strung out for money" for his date with Betty, set against the backdrop of Riverdale's E-Z Loans shop and a Tiffany Jewels storefront — while a tiny couple tumbles through the air above the logo. Below, a rotund, bow-tied figure (Pop Tate, perhaps?) confronts a teen at the Chocklit Shoppe wielding a sign reading "She Who Indulges Soon Bulges," much to a nearby blonde girl's amusement. At a quarter a copy, this Giant Series edition promises a full helping of the wise-guy wit Reggie is known for.
