Reggie and Me #84

Reggie turns astrologer in this January 1976 entry in the long-running Archie Series title, and the cover by Stan Goldberg (pencils) and Jon D'Agostino (inks) lays out the comedy in two punchy panels. In the top scene, a smug Reggie consults charts and a zodiac wheel to inform Veronica that she and Archie are astrologically doomed — while a skeptical Archie looks on — and the punchline lands below when Reggie delivers his verdict with a grin: "You're Virgo and he's Weirdo!" At 25 cents, it's a warm, lighthearted slice of mid-'70s Riverdale humor that shows Reggie at his scheming, wisecrackin' best.
