Reggie and Me #77
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeReggie Mantle is in fine form in this 1975 Archie Series entry, delivering a smug zinger — "Of course I do! I hang around Archie, don't I?" — in what appears to be a nature classroom, complete with leaf charts, a tree-ring cross-section, and a microscope on the table. Archie, a blonde girl, and a wide-eyed teacher look on while Veronica watches from the foreground, all rendered in Dan DeCarlo's pencils and Joe Edwards' inks with that warm, breezy style that defined the era. With an interior story titled "Fruit Salad" crafted by writer George Gladir and artist Bob Bolling, this 25-cent issue promises the kind of sharp, good-natured humor that makes Reggie such an entertaining antihero.
