Reggie and Me #47

Reggie Mantle's iceboat "Reggie's Rocket" (number 39) is stealing the show — and apparently someone's date — on this breezy 1971 Archie Series cover. Archie stands on the shore in his yellow jacket, fuming that Reggie is out on the frozen lake with his girl, while a dark-haired companion deadpans that there's a "big breeze out there." It's the kind of perfectly timed romantic rivalry gag that made Reggie and Me such a fun corner of the Archie universe, and "Teacher's Pest" promises more of Reggie's scheming charm inside.
