Reggie and Me #25
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeReggie Mantle is at his scheming best in this August 1967 Archie Series gem, and the two-panel cover by Dan DeCarlo and Rudy Lapick tells the whole joke at a glance: Reggie pulls up in a flashy red convertible towing a yellow speedboat, inviting Archie for a boat ride — but the bottom panel reveals the chaos that follows, with the boat skidding wildly through an intersection while bewildered bystanders and a dog look on with question marks floating overhead. It's the kind of breezy, gag-driven setup that made Reggie and Me such a reliable treat, with interior work from the sharp creative team of Frank Doyle, Harry Lucey, Marty Epp, Barry Grossman, and Bill Yoshida bringing the "Dangerous Date" story to life.
