Reggie and Me #19
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe alter egos of Riverdale take center stage in this 1966 Archie Series gem, as the cover announces the villainous Evilheart — Reggie's caped, mask-wearing persona sporting a bold "E" on his chest — looming large with outstretched hands menacing a blonde girl in red and what appears to be Archie clutching a companion. The cover copy gleefully bills Evilheart as "that master of mayhem, that sinister sneak, that arch evil-doer," while promising that the heroic Pureheart will once again clash with him in "The Pit of Peril," with a gang of teens crowded along the top banner adding to the mischievous energy. Bill Vigoda's cover art captures the playful superhero parody that made Reggie and Me such a fun corner of the Archie universe in the mid-1960s.
