Three rough-looking figures — one tattooed man with a cane, a lean white-bearded man, and a cowboy-hatted man leveling a shotgun — stand their ground in front of a weathered rural shack while an enormous serpent coils around them from every direction. Nick Pitarra's cover does a terrific job of making that massive snake feel genuinely threatening, its banded scales filling the foreground and towering overhead as a fourth figure lingers nervously in the background doorway. Donny Cates, Lisandro Estherren, and Dee Cunniffe's Skybound series continues to deliver Southern-fried tension with this 2017 Image Comics chapter.
