As Loki's henchmen attack Wodinaz, Sonja wades into the battle with passion that catches Loki's eye. After slaughtering most of his men, she hurls a blade at Loki, piercing his hand. He plucks it out and hurls it back at her, nicking her shoulder. Realizing the wound with Loki's blood can give Loki power over Sonja, Gamble helps Sonja escape, using spells from a magic book to summon his brother, Thor.
