Sonja is led before Fengar Tolt in chains. She frees herself and dispatches her would-be executioners and attacks Fengar. His men rush to his defence but before they can overwhelm Sonja, the Black Tower opens and an army of black clothed warriors joins the battle. They slay soldiers and captives indiscriminately. Sonja faces off against one and finds out he is not human.
