Loki uses Trius' ring to open the gates that have sealed the demons away from mankind. While Sonja, Thor and Toren battle Fenrir, Surtr is sent to attack Wodinaz and destroy the Tree of Life, defended by Thor's brother Lord Gamble. When Loki tells this to Thor and his comrades, Thor abandons them to return to Wodinaz.
