A raid on a neighboring village draws Sonja, Prince Toren and other soldiers to its defense. However, the raid was a distraction so that Loki and Raja could attack and take Vanaheim from King Trius. Trius manages to send a message to Toren and Sonja before Vanaheim is taken. Sonja sends Toren to get Thor's help while she returns to Vanaheim. She battles Raja, but is unable to kill him while he wears the special ring.
