Lucio Parrillo's painted cover for this 2024 Dynamite issue says everything you need to know about Red Sonja's disposition: the She-Devil with a Sword stands triumphant in her signature chainmail, brandishing a weapon aloft in one hand while holding a severed, horned head in the other. It's a striking, blood-spattered image that sets a fittingly grim tone for "The Master's Return, Part 2," the continuing story from writer Torunn Grønbekk and artist Walter Geovani. Fans of Sonja's particular brand of hard-won victory will find plenty to appreciate here.
