Marvel's "She-Devil with a Sword" faces her most fearsome challenge yet in this September 1977 issue, as the cover — rendered by Frank Thorne — plunges Red Sonja into a pit swarming with not one but two massive, fang-bared dragons wreathed in flame, while skulls litter the arena floor and robed onlookers watch from the shadows.
