Part of DC's 2012 "Rise of the Third Army" crossover, this New 52 issue sets a fierce, chaotic tone right on its cover — penciled by Ivan Reis and inked by Oclair Albert — depicting a surge of rage-fueled Red Lanterns charging forward, their monstrous forms awash in crimson and churning energy, while eerie blue-white Third Army figures close in from the edges. The contrast between the bestial Red Lanterns and the eerily blank Third Army creatures makes for a genuinely striking visual collision. Peter Milligan and Miguel Sepulveda bring their story "Eyes Without a Face" to this tension-packed installment.
