The opening chapter of this five-issue limited series plants the Royal Family of Attilan firmly at the center of Marvel's 2010 cosmic landscape. Stjepan Šejić's cover is a striking composition: Medusa stands front and center in dark regal attire, her fiery red hair billowing upward into dramatic wings of flame, while the imposing stone-grey figure of Black Bolt looms behind her and armored Inhuman warriors flank the sides. With Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning — the team behind Marvel's cosmic renaissance — joined by artist Pablo Raimondi and inker Andrew Hennessy, "Duty Calls" promises a story worthy of that arresting image.
